The trailer of Attack: Part 1 begins with Arjun (John Abraham), a soldier, talking about the two crucial days in a person's life: the day they are born, and the day they know why they were born. Several glimpses that follow go on to show that through the help of technology, Arjun is soon turned into a 'super-soldier,' with special – almost robotic – abilities imbibed in him in a scientific laboratory to tackle and combat terrorists.
As the soldier fights several menaces, the trailer also drops hints of him having a rebellious streak, as he follows his heart – thereby compelled to unfollow the orders given to him by the authorities for what he feels is right. When his powers are on the verge of running out, will his superiors then stall the mission at hand or would he end up losing his life?
Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, the first part of the sic-fi action film is set in a futuristic world, where wars are fought via technology and artificial intelligence. Produced by Jayantilal Gada, Abraham himself and Ajay Kapoor Productions, it also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh and Ratna Pathak Shah. The film releases theatrically on April 1.
