Streaming platforms are notorious for their lack of transparency, allowing them to quote numbers that are tough to verify. Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, however, has been tracking viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms.

Here’s a list of the most-viewed shows and movies from the Indian streaming space between October 23rd and October 19th, 2023. The numbers are estimates based within India, and only include Hindi streaming releases.

1. Koffee with Karan Season 8 - Disney+ Hotstar

Views (milion): 9.3

Karan Johar, aka the internet’s favourite Koffee Konnoisseur, is back with Season 8 of his contentious talk show. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were the first guests of the new season.
