Amazon Prime Video has an exciting line-up for you this month. Here's a list of what's new on the platform and some older hidden gems.

Amazon Originals:

Jai Bhim (November 2)

[Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada]

Directed by Tha. Se. Gnanavel, the film, starring Suriya, Prakash Raj, Rajisha Vijayan and Lijomol Jose, revolves around an advocate who fights for justice and rights of the oppressed people.

Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar (November 3)

The crime-drama series, created by the late Raj Kaushal and Aman Khan, follows the story of two best friends, who decide to start a fake bank and scam people into depositing their money.

Tampa Baes: Season 1 (November 5)

The docu-series centres upon a young group of lesbian friends, who navigate their lives in Tampa Bay – Florida's LGBTQ+ hub. It stars Ali Myers, Nelly Ramirez, Shiva Pishdad and Jordan Whitley, among others.

Yellowstone: Season 4 (November 8)

The American drama series – starring Academy award winner Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and Luke Grimes – follows the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in the United States, as they constantly find themselves in conflict with frequent intruders.

Most Dangerous Game (November 11)

[Hindi, Tamil, Telugu dubs]

The action series revolves around a man diagnosed with a terminal illness (Liam Hemsworth), who in his desperation to take care of his pregnant wife, ends up participating in a dangerous game that he eventually realises is playing him, instead of him playing it.

Mayor Pete (November 12)

The documentary, produced and directed by Jesse Moss, traces the campaign of Pete Buttigieg as he runs for the Presidential elections, in his bid to become the youngest and the first openly gay President of the United States of America.

Always Jane: Season 1 (November 12)

The four-part coming-of-age documentary is set in rural New Jersey, as a young transgender teenager Jane Noury, along with her family, prepare for her new life away from home in college.

All Or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs (November 12)

The docu-series chronicles the journey of the professional ice hockey team, Toronto Maple Leafs, as they participate in the 2020-2021 National Hockey League season. The series includes both behind-the-scenes and on-ice footages, with access to the players, coaches and fans.

Everybody Loves Natti: Season 1 (November 19)

The reality series follows Latin singing sensation Natti Natasha, as she shares intimate details of her family, relationships and upcoming projects. The all-access series touches upon how she remains on top in the booming Latin music scene, as she navigates a growing family and life in a new city.

The Wheel Of Time: Season 1 (November 19)

Created by Rafe Judkins, the epic fantasy series is based on a woman named Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), belonging to a powerful organisation of women who can use magic. In the small town of Two Rivers, her path crosses with five young men and women, sparking a world-spanning journey.

Hanna: Season 3 (November 24)

Created and written by David Farr, the series follows the journey of a young girl Hanna (Esme Creed-Miles), who was raised in a remote part of a forest. In the process of finding out the truth about herself, she is forced to evade the obsessive pursuit of a CIA agent.

Burning (November 26)

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Eva Orner takes a look at the catastrophic Australian Bushfires of 2019-2020 to shed light on the unwillingness of today's political environment to address the issues of global warming and climate change.

K-Drama:

Mr. Queen: Season 1 (November 4)

The South Korean drama, directed by Yoon Sung-sik, is based on the life of a modern-day chef, who finds himself trapped in the body of a queen from the 14th century.

Secret Garden (November 4)

A fantasy rom-com about a rich CEO and a poor stuntwoman, who are brought together by fate and must do everything in their power to overcome class and cultural differences.

Voice: Seasons 1 to 4 (November 11)

This crime-thriller follows the lives of the employees of an emergency call center as they attempt to fight crimes with the limited information they receive via phone calls.

New Arrivals:

The Good Doctor: Season 4 (November 2)

The series follows the story of Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, as he joins a prestigious hospital in California.

Batman: Hush (November 4)

The animated superhero film sees Batman teaming up with Catwoman in a mission to defeat a new, dangerous villain, Hush, who seems to know all of the superhero's secrets from his past, including the most important people in his life.

In The Heights (November 5)

The musical drama, directed by Jon M. Chu, is based on the stage musical of the same name by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Starring Anthony Ramos, Leslie Grace and Melissa Barrera, among others, the film tells the story of a neighbourhood where every member aspires to pursue their dreams for a better life.

Space Jam: A New Legacy (November 26)

The live-action, animated sports comedy stars NBA legend LeBron James as a fictional version of himself, alongside Don Cheadle, Khris Davis and Sonequa Martin-Green. After a rogue artificial intelligence kidnaps the son of the basketball player, he has to team up with Bugs Bunny to win a basketball game.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017-)

Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, the hilarious and heartfelt period comedy drama set in the 1950s, revolves around Midge Maisel (played by an electric Rachel Brosnahan), a housewife who discovers and hones her knack for stand-up comedy to pursue a career in it.

The Boys (2019-)

Superheroes are as popular as any other celebrities, sometimes even more. They fight for the good, after all… Or do they? Based on the comic series of the same name, Eric Kripke's superhero series subverts the idea of the ideal 'supe,' and dares to feature the ones that abuse their abilities. A group of vigilantes form a team to battle them against all odds.

Jack Ryan (2018-)

The political action thriller, created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland, is based on author Tom Clancy's characters from the fictional 'Ryanverse.' The series follows Ryan (John Krasinski), a CIA analyst, who gets involved in a dangerous assignment as he starts uncovering a pattern in terrorist communication. He finds himself right in the middle of a gambit that involves a new breed of terrorism that threatens the existence of the world.

Hidden Gems:

45 Years (2015)

The British romantic drama, directed and written by Andrew Haigh, focuses on a married couple preparing to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary. In the course of the preparations, they receive a heart-breaking news that threatens to change their lives forever. The film screened at the Berlin International Film Festival, where the leads, Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay, won the Silver Bear for their performances.

Capharnaum (2018)

The Lebanese drama film, directed by Nadine Labaki, starred child actor Zain Al Rafeea, a Syrian refugee, as a 12-year-old boy living in the slums of Beirut. The film focuses on his life and struggles, as it leads up to him suing his parents for child neglect. The film was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Jury Prize.
