Zoya Akhtar shares an update on Priyanka, Alia, Katrina starrer Jee Le Zaraa

Jee Le Zaraa, a film on female friendships and an all-girls road trip has been in the making for almost four years now. Zoya Akhtar, who has co-written the film with Reema Kagti and Farhan Akhtar, has now shared an update about the film at the trailer launch of Made in Heaven season 2.

When asked about the delay in shooting the film Akhtar said, “We are just waiting for the dates.” There were strong rumours in between that Priyanka Chopra Jonas had left the film after the shooting schedule clashed with the filming for Citadel Season 2. It was then speculated that even Katrina Kaif had exited the project due to scheduling problems. However, none of these rumours have been confirmed by the makers.

Jee Le Zaraa will be directed by Farhan Akhtar, and co-produced by Kagti, Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar.
