Vikrant Massey to Collaborate with Niranjan Iyengar on his Directorial Debut

Vikrant Massey will bring to life the story of acclaimed author Ruskin Bond, in Niranjan Iyengar’s debut directorial. Iyengar, is a well-known scriptwriter and dialogue writer who has worked on films like Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), Fashion (2008), Wake Up Sid (2009), Student of the Year (2012) and Ae Dil Hain Mushkil (2016). His first film as a director will be an enchanting take on Bond’s journey. More details on the film’s title, supporting cast and crew are awaited. 

Bond is a Sahitya Akademi Award winner who has written more than 500 short stories, essays, and novels, which include 69 books for children. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1999 and Padma Bhushan in 2014.

Massey has 12th Fail directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sector 36, directed by Aditya Nimbalkar in the pipeline.
