Vijay Sethupathi Unveils The Release Date Announcement Poster of Siddharth’s Chithha

Actor Vijay Sethupathi shared the second look poster from Siddharth’s upcoming film Chithha (2023), The poster featured Siddharth’s face in focus offering a blank stare to the screen with a rugged beard and tanned look. The film is helmed by S U Arunkumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum (2014) and Sethupathi (2016) fame. 

It features the story of the affectionate relationship between a niece and Chittappa (the father’s younger brother), a facet often unexplored in mainstream cinema. The film is bankrolled by Siddarth’s own production house ‘Ekati Entertainments, which has previously bankrolled films like Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu (2012) and Jil Jung Juk (2016), both featuring Siddarth himself in the lead.

The first look poster for the film was released by actor Kamal Haasan, with a short video promo introducing the meaning of the title. The film is promised to contain aspects of a real-time thriller and features Siddarth and a new child actor in prominent roles. The makers are also planning for a Telugu language version of the film with the title Chinna. The film will have music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and cinematography by Balaji Subramanyam. Chithha is all set to be released on September 28.
