Vijay Sethupathi Shares the First Look Poster of Veerayi Makkal

Vela Ramamoorthy has appeared in supporting roles in several Tamil films like Annaatthe (2021) and Therkathi Veeran (2022) among many others, in addition to being a major presence in Tamil serials for some years now. The actor will be seen next headlining the new film titled Veerayi Makkal (2023). This ensemble family drama will also feature late actor Marimuthu, who was last seen in Rajinikanth’s Jailer (2023). The rest of the cast includes Deepa Shankar, Suresh Nandha, Rama, Senthil Kumari and Jerald Milton. The first look poster for the film was shared by Vijay Sethupathi on his social media handle which featured the entire cast in frame.

The film is being bankrolled by White Screen Films and is written and directed by Nagaraj Karuppaih. Sreenivasan M cranks the camera while Vel Murugan controls the editing department. Veerayi Makkal features an original score and music by Deepan Chakravarthy.
