Vijay Sethupathi Launches Manikandan’s Next Film

Manikandan, who was last seen in the feel-good film Good Night (2023), has slowly carved his own space in Tamil cinema. He recently shared the news of his next role in the yet-untitled project on his Twitter handle, along with the images from the launch ceremony. Vijay Sethupathy performed the first clap for the crew. The film also features Sri Gouri Priya and Kanna Ravi.

Produced by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment, the project is written and directed by debutant Prabhuram Vyaas, who has made his name with the critically acclaimed short film China Visari (2014) and the well-received youtube series Livin’ (2017). The film will have a musical score by Sean Roldan and cinematography by Shreyas Krishna, who is known for his works with Karthik Subbaraj like Jagame Thandiram (2021) and Mahaan (2022).
