Vijay and Venkat Prabhu's 'Thalapathy 68' Goes on Floors

Venkat Prabhu, who will be collaborating with Vijay for the first time in 'Thalapathy 68’, took to his social media handle to note that the team has completed the inaugural pooja ceremony for Vijay’s untitled project. The director noted, “And it began!! #Thalapathy68 with all ur love and wishes!!! This is gonna be a fun roller coaster ride!! And all pics and updates after namma #Leo release!! God is Kind” The film, which is touted to be set in a post apocalyptic world, will see Vijay in a never-before-seen avatar in a sci-fi setting.

The film will also feature Jayaram, Mohan,Meenakshi Chaudary in the supporting cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the music for the film bankrolled by AGS Entertainment. The rest of the technical crew for the film has been kept under wraps for now. Vijay is getting ready for the release of his next, Leo, which will feature him alongside Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Babu Antony among others in the ensemble.
