Varun Mitra plays a musician opposite Kangana Ranaut in Tejas

Varun Mitra will play the romantic lead opposite Kangana Ranaut in the upcoming film Tejas. The aerial actioner will feature Ranaut as Tejas Gill, an Air Force Pilot and Mitra as a musician. As per reports, popular singer Arijit Singh has lent his voice to Mitra's character in the film.

Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, Tejas is set in 2016, when the Indian Air Force (IAF) became the first arm of India's defence forces to induct women into combat roles. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP Movies. Tejas will be released in theatres on October 20.
