The Teaser of Sharafudheen's 'Tholvi F.C' Promises a Fun Sports Film

The teaser of Sharafudheen upcoming sports comedy Tholvi F.C was recently released. The film, written and directed by George Kora of Thirike (2021) fame, will see Sharafudheen play a small town hotel owner who is tricked into sponsoring an underperforming school football team. The film stars Goerge Kora, Johnny Anthony, Asha Madathil Sreekanth, Meenakshi Raveendran and Althaf among others in the supporting cast. 

The team had earlier put out a first-look poster featuring the tagline, "You can't escape your failures.” Tholvi F.C is bankrolled by Abraham Joseph for Nationwide Pictures and its music is composed by Sibi Mathew Alex. Shyamaprakash M S cranks the camera while Lal Krishna is in charge of the film’s editing. The film is said to be inspired from certain events that happened in the life of the writer-director and will be a departure from his more serious debut Thirike.
