Thank You For Coming Trailer: Bhumi Pednekar's fairytale has a pleasurable twist

Bhumi Pednekar has dropped the trailer of her upcoming chick flick Thank You For Coming. Pednekar stars as Kanika Kapoor, a 30-something woman who gets by with a little help from her besties played by Dolly Singh, Shehnaaz Gill and Shibani Bedi.

Kapoor is seeking her Prince Charming and she meets many contendors for the title. But her fairytale has a twist. Kapoor is on the quest not just for Mr. Right, but also her first orgasm. Things take a hilarious turn when she finally has one after a wild night of partying, but can't seem to remember who the gentleman might be. Singh and Bedi list a name of contenders which include her fiance, her ex suitors, her friend's husband and even a waiter at the party. Whether Kapoor finally finds the 'one' or not, is what the trailer leaves us guessing.

Thank You For Coming also stars Dolly Ahluwalia, Natasha Rastogi, Kusha Kapila, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Natasha Rastogi, Gautmik, Sushant Divgikar, Karan Kundrra & Anil Kapoor in a special appearance. The movie is directed by Karan Boolani and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Anil, Ektaa R. Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. The story and screenplay are by Radhika Anand with dialogues by Anand and Prashasti Singh.

The film will have its gala premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and be released in theatres on October 6.
