Team Guntur Kaaram Unveils New Poster on Mahesh Babu’s Birthday

Wishes pour in on social media as Superstar Mahesh Babu is celebrating his birthday today. The actor will be next seen in Guntur Kaaram (2023), an action entertainer written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Celebrating his birthday, the makers released a poster captioned “Highly Inflammable''. It features Mahesh Babu who is seated on a bench, donning a traditional mundu with a pair of sunglasses and holding a lighted cigarette in hand. 

In 2023, Mahesh Babu completed his 24th year in the film industry. The actor made his debut as a child artist in the year with the film Needa (1979) and continued as a child performer, till he was cast as the leading man in the film Raja Kumarudu (1999), from which point there has not been a looking back. He is one of the biggest stars in the country with a pan-Indian following and was last seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022).

The film title translates to the “Spice of Guntur”, a city in Andhra Pradesh. It co-stars Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Jagpathy Babu. Guntur Kaaram has a musical score by Thaman S, while PS Vinod has handled the cinematography. The film is slated to hit the screens on January 12, on the occasion of Sankranti.
