Sunny Singh and Kriti Kharbanda to co-star in upcoming film Risky Romeo

Sunny Singh, who was last seen in Adipurush as Shesh, will share screen space with Kriti Kharbanda in the film Risky Romeo. The film will be directed by Abir Sengupta, who will also be co-producing the film with Anushree Mehta under their banner Jaadugar Films, in association with Priyanka Mehrotra and Rameshchandra Yadav of PR Motion Pictures.

The director describes Risky Romeo as an edgy and stylish neo-noir comic tragedy that will see Singh and Kharbanda in never-seen-before avatars. Sengupta also added that the film’s script includes dark humour, eccentric characters and surreal treatment.

Commenting on the film and her character Kharbanda said, “Sets have always been my happy place and I can’t wait to face the camera. I am very excited and really looking forward to working with this wonderful team. I’ve always given priority to the script and character, and I look forward to the challenge Abir has set for me. This script of Risky Romeo is special for more reasons than one and I can’t wait for the world to see it unfold.” 

Sengupta has directed Indoo ki Jawani (2020) starring Kiara Advani, and co-produced Mrs Undercover starring Radhika Apte.
