Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's SK21 Goes On Floors

The makers of the Sivakarthikeyan starrer recently released a video of the puja ceremony, announcing the commencement of shoot. Tentatively titled SK21, the film is written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy of Rangoon fame. The film will be produced by Mahendran under the Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) banner, along with Sony Pictures International Productions.

Lead actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi attended the ceremony, along with director Rajkumar Periysamy and music director GV Prakash Kumar. Kamal Hassan, who founded RKFI and is presenting the film, also attended the ceremony and sounded the first clap.

Apart from SK21, Sivakarthikeyan will be seen in Ayalaan and Maveeran, both of which have announced release dates. RKFI will also be collaborating with Silambarasan TR in his next with Desingh Periyasamy, currently titled STR48. The production house will also be collaborating with Mani Ratnam in his next, which will see him reuniting with Kamal Hassan after Nayakan.
