Shraddha Kapoor might play the lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in Chandu Champion

Shraddha Kapoor is supposedly leading the race to play the lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in Chandu Champion, reported Bollywood Hungama. Chandu Champion is touted to be a sports drama helmed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. 

A source told the entertainment website, “Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan are scouting for a leading lady and they are keen on Shraddha Kapoor playing the role. The actress is excited about the project too. As of now, she is the lead in the race. Currently, Sajid and Shraddha are in talks and working out on the modalities.” 

Aaryan and Kapoor previously shared screen briefly in the former’s cameo in Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar. Chandu Champion is slated to release on June 14, 2024.
