Shine Tom Chacko and Roshan Mathew Are Siblings in Maharani, Teaser Out

G Marthandan known for his work in films like Paavada (2016) and Johny Johny Yes Appa (2018) is back with his next titled Maharani (2023). The makers recently released the film’s trailer. The comedy film features Shine Tom Chacko, Roshan Mathew and Johnny Anthony in the lead roles. It will depict the trials and tribulations in the life of two brothers and their efforts to get married, which are often bogged down by the circumstances. The trailer promises a funny, light entertainer reminiscent of older films from the 90’s Malayalam cinema.

The film also features an ensemble supporting cast including Balu Varghese, Nisha Sarangh and Harishree Ashokan. Maharani is penned by Ratheesh Ravi who is known for writing films like Ishq (2019) and Adi (2023). Bankrolled by Sujit Balan, the film features music by Govind Vasantha and Gopi Sundar and cinematography by Lokanathan.
