Shane Nigam’s Tamil Debut Madraskaaran Goes On Floors

Shane Nigam, the Malayalam actor who is known for films such as RDX, Kumbalangi Nights, and Ishq will be making his Tamil cinema debut with Madraskaaran. The makers of the film recently posted pictures from the muhurtham of the film, announcing the beginning of the project.

The team had previously announced Nigam’s casting with a humorous promo video that showed the actor imitating prominent actors from Tamil cinema. The video saw Shane Nigam being pitched the script of the film by the directors and producers while he tried to impress them by delivering classic Tamil cinema dialogues. References to Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, and Vijay were made through the dialogues. The actor finally accepts the role at the end. The video was released by Dulquer Salman.

Madraskaaran is directed by Vaali Mohandas and also stars Kalaiyarasan and Niharika Konidela. B Jagadish produces the film under the SR Productions banner. Sundaramurthy handles the music while Prassana S Kumar handles the cinematography.
