Shanaya Kapoor to make her debut in Mohanlal’s Vrushabha

Shanaya Kapoor is set to make her debut in Mohanlal starrer pan-Indian film Vrushabha. India Today reported that Kapoor’s role in the film is essential to the plot and that, “Shanaya plays a pivotal role in this film as she is the one who bridges the past and the present. The role is both glamorous and performance-oriented. This movie is a high-octane action drama."

Vrushabha is touted to be similar to SS Rajamouli’s Magadheera (2009). It will be shot primarily in Malayalam and Telugu and will have a pan-Indian release. 

The film will be directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Ekta Kapoor. The cast also features Roshan Meka, Garuda Ram, Simran, and Srikanth. Vrushabha start shooting by the end of July.
