Rajinikanth Has a Fiery Cameo In Lal Salaam, Teaser out

The makers of the sports drama Lal Salaam recently unveiled the teaser for the film. The Aishwarya Rajinikanth directorial is set around an India-Pakistan cricket match and the subsequent hatred and the religious conflict it brings out in the communities. The film features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles, playing rival cricket players.

Rajinikanth makes an extended cameo appearance as Moideen Bhai, a respected man in the area who tries to solve the conflicts. He seems to have multiple scenes, including a couple of action sequences that match the superstar’s stardom. He also speaks against poisoning young minds with talks of communal violence.

Lal Salaam is written and directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. It is backed by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner and has music by AR Rahman. The film also stars Nirosha, Thambi Ramiah, and a cameo by cricketer Kapil Dev. It has cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy and editing by B Pravin Baaskar. The film is set to be released on the occasion of Pongal, 2024.
