Parineeti Chopra to Collaborate with Dinesh Vijan on a Musical

Parineeti Chopra has signed a musical film with Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. As per a report in Pinkvilla, the film is set in the UK and filming will begin in October this year. 

A source close to the development said, "It’s a delightful and entertaining story centred around an independent woman, with Parineeti playing a bubbly character. While the director and other movie details are currently kept under wraps, the pre-production is set to commence next month. The makers are also in discussions with Anupam Kher for an important role."

Chopra and Sunny Kaushal were supposed to work together in Shiddat 2 which was announced earlier this year. However, Chopra backed out after there was a clash of dates with another project. She will also be seen in Akshay Kumar’s The Great Indian Rescue, scheduled to release on October 5, and Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila opposite Diljit Dosanjh which will stream on Netflix next year.
