Nelson and Anirudh Crack Us Up In The Promo Of Rajinikanth-Starrer Jailer's Single

The makers of Jailer have released a promo video announcing the release of its first single, 'Kaavaalaa'. Sun Pictures took to its Twitter handle to make the announcement. 'Kaavaalaa' will be released on July 6. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the song has lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj of Kanaa (2018) fame. Tamannaah Bhatia will be dancing to this peppy number.

Nelson and Anirudh released a quirky promo video following their viral promo videos for Doctor (2021) and Beast (2022). We can see Nelson pestering Anirudh for the first single as he informs him there will be no promo announcement video. Arunraja Kamaraj also makes a cameo at the end of the video.

The action entertainer follows the life of Muthuvel Panidan (Rajinikanth), a jailer. The film boasts of an ensemble cast which includes Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will be seen in an extended cameo as well. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer and R Nirmal of Nelson's Beast (2022) is the editor.

Jailer marks Nelson's second collaboration with Sun Pictures after Beast. The film is slated to hit the screens on August 10.
