Nayanthara’s Mannangatti Since 1960 Goes On Floors

Nayanthara's next film titled Mannangatti Since 1960 is written and directed by debutant filmmaker Dude Vicky. The makers recently announced that the film’s production has begun in Kodaikanal. The team shared the images from the first day of the shoot with the technicians and crew. The production house Prince Pictures wrote on Twitter, “Shooting of Lady Superstar #Nayanthara's #MANNANGATTIsince1960 - starts off today on a grand scale in Kodaikanal.” 

The team had put out a motion poster last month that featured some connection to Hindu mythology in the form of spears, bells and offerings to the lord in a temple which is juxtaposed with the images of the “Lady Justice” statue in a witness stand. The film co-stars Yogi Babu, Devadarshini, Gouri Kishan, and Narendra Prasath. Sean Roldan is the music director while RD Rajasekhar is the cinematographer and G Madan is the editor. The film is expected to be released in the first half of 2024.
