Nayanthara’s Annapoorani Locks its Theatrical Release Date

Nayanthara will be seen playing the lead role in the comedy-drama Annapoorani. She plays a college student hailing from a conservative Brahmin family, who secretly craves to consume meat. Annapoorani is eyeing an official theatrical release on December 1st. The release date announcement featured Nayanthara in the frame, standing in between a kitchen with the cutleries and food flying around.

The film is bankrolled jointly by Zee Studios, Trident Arts and Naad SStudios. Annapoorani is directed by Nilesh Krishna and features Jai, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsley and Suresh Chakkaravarthy. The screenplay is written by Krishna. Sathyan Sorryan of Master (2021) and Sulthan (2021) fame is the cinematographer, while Thaman is the music composer and Preveen Anthony is the editor.
