Nani 30: Nani and Mrunal Thakur starrer titled 'Hi Nanna'

After making her Telugu debut with Dulquer Salmaan's Sita Ramam (2022), Mrunal Thakur is all set to share screen with Nani in her sophomore Tollywood outing. Interestingly, this is also Nani's 30th film. The feel-good entertainer, which was tentatively called Nani 30, is now titled Hi Nanna.

Directed by debutant Shouryuv, the film sees Nani as a filmmaker who is also a single father, and features Mrunal as the female lead. The title was revealed along with a glimpse video which shows Kiara Khanna, who plays Nani's daughter, introducing both Mrunal and Nani to each other. She addresses Mrunal as her friend. There are glimpses of Mrunal and Nani in Goa and Mumbai. The video also hints that the lead characters might share a romantic past and promises to be an intense love story. 

It is produced by Moham Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijendra Reddy Teegala under the Vyra Entertainments banner. Shruthi Hassan will also be seen in a cameo role. Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam fame is composing the music for the film while Sanu John Varghese and Praveen Antony handle the cinematography and editing respectively. The film is slated to hit the screens on December 21.
