Nagarjuna joins Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna’s film D51

Nagarjuna Akkineni will be a part of Dhanush’s upcoming film which has been tentatively titled D51. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and is directed by Sekhar Kammula. Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, who are producing the film under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, shared a statement to wish Akkineni on his birthday and formally announced that he was a part of D51.

The makers wrote, "We needed a powerhouse for our pan-Indian project with Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula, and who better than our very own 'King'. WISHING #KingNagarjuna A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We are extremely excited to work with you once again! Can't wait to get this show on the road! SUNIEL NARANG PUSKUR RAM MOHAN RAO"  

Akkineni also has another film, Naa Saami Ranga lined up for release in January 2024.
