Makers of Kavin’s ‘Star’ Release A Special Promo on Yuvan Shankar Raja's Birthday

Kavin, who was last seen in Dada (2023), had recently announced his next with director Elan. The film titled Star (2023) will have its music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. On the occasion of the music composer’s birthday, the team has unveiled a teaser featuring Kavin. With Yuvan’s background score dominating the promo, we get to see Kavin play an aspiring artist. The short promo also contains a voice over narration by the actor charting his aspirations in becoming an actor.

Initially, Harish Kalyan was on board to play the lead role and the team had also released a couple of first look posters. But the project didn’t take off. The makers have now revived the film with Kavin in the lead. Star is bankrolled by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Rise East Banner. The film will have cinematography by Ezhil Rajan and editing by Pradeep E Raghav.
