Leo Opening Day BO Collection: Thalapathy Vijay Couldn’t Beat Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan

The first day box office collection of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo is out. According to Sacnilk.com, Leo earned ₹64.8 crore [Tamil: ₹48.96 crore, Telugu: ₹12.9 crore; Hindi: ₹2.8 crore; Kannada: ₹14 crore] on Thursday. Despite recording a huge opening day collection, the Vijay starrer failed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's recent release Jawan which earned Rs.75 crores on its opening day.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this is the director’s second collaboration with Vijay after their 2021 hit Master. Leo also stars Trisha Krishnan and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.The film was released in theatres on October 19.
