Laapataa Ladies OTT Release Details: Here’s What You Must Know About the Kiran Rao Directorial

Kiran Rao made her directorial debut with Dhobi Ghat in 2011 and after a years long gap Rao is back with her second directorial debut Laapataa Ladies which released in theatres on March 1.

The film has already premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023 will also be screened at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) which stars from February 29 to March 2.

Laapataa Ladies is scheduled to hit theaters in India on March 1. However, the film's official OTT partner has not been disclosed by the makers. Speculations suggest that the movie will be available on Jio Cinema following its theatrical release. Since the film’s streaming partner is JioCinema, the film might drop on the platform after a month depending on its theatrical release and audience’s demand.

Laapataa Ladies is directed by Rao and produced by Aamir Khan under his production house Aamir Khan Productions. The film stars debutants Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Rabi Kishan and Chhaya Kadam in lead roles.
