Koffee With Karan 8: Ranveer-Deepika Agree for Sangam Remake with Ranbir Kapoor

The eighth season of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan kicked off with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the first guests on the show. During the rapid fire round in the show, Johar spoke about remaking the 1964 classic romantic drama film Sangam starring Raj Kapoor, Vyjayantimala and Rajendra Kumar with a new cast including Singh, Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. And what came as a surprise was that both the guests agreed to be a part of this project, now we only await for Kapoor’s confirmation on the same.

Sangam revolves around three best friends Radha, Gopal, and Sundar, as love complicates this relationship putting their loyalty, friendship, and marriage to test. The cult love triangle was directed by Raj Kapoor who also played the role of Flight Lt. Sundar Khanna along with Rajendra Kumar as Magistrate Gopal Verma and Vyjayanthimala as Radha Mehra.
