Kavin Replaces Harish Kalyan In ‘Star’, Helmed by Pyaar Prema Kaadhal Director

Kavin of Dada (2023) fame will be joining hands with director Elan for his next film, which will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Announcing the film, the team shared a picture featuring the trio on their social media handles. The title Star was announced by the team along with a poster. 

The photo featuring the trio has the caption, “The universe always falls in love with a stubborn heart”- J M Storm.” In the poster, Kavin stands under the spotlight as he is performing somewhere. 

After Pyaar Prema Kaadhal (2018), Elan, Harish Kalyan and Yuvan Shankar Raja were set to reunite for Star in 2020. However, that project didn’t take off. Elan has revived the project now with Kavin in the lead. Ezhil will crank the camera while Pradeep E. Raghav will handle the editing. The film is bankrolled by Rise East Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP.
