Kareena starrer The Buckingham Murders is 80% English and 20% in Hindi

Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film will premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival

In a recent Front Row session with Film Companion, Kareena Kapoor Khan opened up about her upcoming project with filmmaker Hansal Mehta, the actress who is currently prepping for her streaming debut with Jaane Jaan has a few projects lined up for release which also includes Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders.

Talking about the film, she said, “I can’t wait for people to see the film because it's 80% English 20% Hindi,” revealed Khan while talking to Anupama Chopra.

She further added, “It's kind of like an amalgamation of a lot of things coming together, the Indian community there (Buckingham), as well as a detective who is also a mother and what’s happened to her so I just feel like everything just happens for a reason so I’m just super super excited for people to watch it at the festival in a couple of weeks.”

The Buckingham Murders will premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival. The film directed by Mehta also stars Keith Allen and Haqi Ali. The actress plays a detective in the film who is also a mother who loses her own child and is on a quest to unravel the secret behind the murder in Buckinghamshire.
