Karan Johar’s Oscar 2024 Predictions Come True: Oppenheimer, Cillian Murphy Emma Stone Celebrate the Big Win

One of the most anticipated award shows around the globe, the Oscar awards which took place in Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatres have announced the winners list of the films which were released in 2023 that was a phenomenal year for the movies both in India as well as in Hollywood.

While we all had our predictions ready before the Oscars’ night, Filmmaker Karan Johar shared his list of predictions on his stories section on his Instagram handle that read, “Oppenheimer, Nolan, Cillian Murphy, Lily Gladstone (an outside chance of Emma Stone).”

Johar’s predictions have almost come true as Christopher Nolan bagged the best director award for Oppenheimer (2023), the film won seven awards in various categories along with Cillian Murphy winning the best actor in a leading role for Oppenheimer. Not to forget, Emma Stone also won the best actress in a leading role for Poor Things (2023).

On the workfront, Johar is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Yodha directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. Produced by Johar, the film features Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in lead roles.
