Karan Johar Grills Sunny Deol over Gadar 2 being ‘Hindustan ka asli Blockbuster’ Tagline

The promo of the next episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 is out. Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are the next guests on the graffiti couch of the show. After Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone who made the headlines over the week, it's time for Karan Johar’s new guests who not only addressed Gadar 2 organic box office numbers but also revealed that box office numbers for movies are inflated most of the time.

In the promo, we see Johar give a standing ovation to the Deol brothers for their magnificent box office innings, meanwhile slides a question to Deol asking him about what he meant when he said that Gadar 2 has organic box office numbers. In response to this, Deol said that box office numbers are often inflated and it is a common practice which is why the Gadar 2 tagline read, “ Hindustan ka asli blockbuster” (India’s original blockbuster).

Deol and Bobby appeared on Johar’s couch back in the first season of the show in 2005. Reportedly, the theme of this year’s Koffee With Karan Season 8 is family members. Hence, most of the pairings are being made keeping that in mind.
