Kantara 2 Secures Post-Theatrical Prime Video Release

Prime Video unveils its 2024 slate of South Indian films and series, showcasing a blend of sequels, original dramas, and documentaries. Among these Kantara: Chapter 2 is the most noteworthy. 

Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 2 is among the most anticipated films of 2024. This is a prequel to the Pan-Indian hit Kannada film Kantara (2022). Rishab, both the director and lead actor, unveiled the sequel on March 18 at a Prime Video event in Mumbai.

The film will have an OTT release on Prime Video post its theatrical run. The primary cast includes Kishore Kumar G. and Achyuth Kumar. Ajaneesh Loknath will compose the film’s music. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films production house.
