Kanguva: Suriya Joins The Team for Post-Production Works

Suriya, who last appeared in cameo roles in Vikram (2022) and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect (2022), will be next seen in the period action film Kanguva. The team has been working on the film for the past few years and cinematographer Vetri Palaniswamy shared that the film is in post-production stage. Sharing a few images, he wrote, “Dear @Suriya_offl  Sir We're thrilled to have you join us in our DI suite! . Your appreciation means a lot to us. Post Production in full swingggg.” The film written and directed by Siva spans two timelines and will see Suriya in several avatars.

Kanguva will feature Bobby Deol, Disha Patani and B S Avinash. Vetri Palaniswamy cranks the camera, while Nishad Yusuf handles the editing for the film. Kanguva is bankrolled by Studio Green Films and features a musical score by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is currently in its last leg of post-production and is expected to be released in IMAX and 3D formats in the first half of 2024.
