Jawan Trailer Out Now: Shah Rukh Khan film is a saga of justice, vengeance and love

The highly anticipated trailer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has been released. Khan dropped the trailer on his Instagram page and added a caption to his post which said, “Of Justice & A Jawan. Of Women & their Vengeance. Of a Mother & A Son. And of course, a lot of Fun!!! Ready Ahhh!!! #JawanTrailer out now!  #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”

The trailer reveals the many looks sported by Khan in the film and seems to indicate that the actor will be playing the dual role of father and son in the movie. Khan and Deepika Padukone are seen romancing in the rain, and it seems like their love story will form a flashback portion of the film. The actor is also seen romancing a police officer played by Nayanthara, who is then seen negotiating with him in a hijack situation. Vijay Sethupathi is Kalee, the world’s fourth-largest arms dealer, who seems to share a violent past connection with Khan’s character.

What drives Khan, who in his different avatars in the trailer is a part of the army and police force, to hijack a train and turn villainous, is what audiences will discover when the film releases. 

Jawan stars Khan, Nayanthara and Sethupathi in the central roles and features Padukone in a special appearance. The film’s supporting cast includes actors Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Girija Oak Godbole, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Ridhi Dogra and Sunil Grover, among others. The film is directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. Jawan will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages on September 7.
