Ishaan Khattar and Mrunal Thakur’s film Pippa to release on Streaming Platform

Ishaan Khattar and Mrunal Thakur starrer Pippa will head towards a streaming release. The film was earlier scheduled to release in theatres but will now release on November 10 on Amazon Prime Video.

Set in 1971, Pippa is a story of the battle of Garibpur, which was pivotal in Bangladesh’s struggle for independence. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Roy Kapur Films, and directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the film features Khattar who essays the character of real-life war hero Captain Balram Singh Mehta along with Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan in pivotal roles.

Based on the book ‘The Burning Chaffees’ by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, the film is written by Menon, Tanmay Mohan, and Ravinder Randhawa. The film has its music by A. R Rehman.
