The makers of the espionage thriller Gandeevadhari Arjuna released the film’s trailer, which stars Varun Tej. He plays Arjun, a spy who is tasked with protecting Aditya Raj Bahadur (Nasser), the Minister for Environment. The film also features Sakshi Vaidya and Vinay Rai.
The trailer hints at the theme of the film to be about conservation. The trailer opens with the Minister’s statement. He says, “In December 2020, people said that man won over God.” And towards the end, he adds, “Maybe the biggest cancer affecting the world is humanity.” A personification of this “cancer” is hinted to be the antagonist, played by Vinay Rai. And Varun Tej’s ruthless spy Arjun is the only one to stop him. The trailer shows elaborate set pieces, travelling around Europe from one lead to another as Arjun tries to save the minister. He is joined by Sakshi Vaidhya who also plays an agent.
Gandeevadhari Arjuna is written and directed by Praveen Sattaru of The Ghost fame. It is backed by BVSN Prasad under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chithra banner. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music while Mukesh G and Dharmendra Kakarala have handled the cinematography and editing, respectively. The film is all set to be released on August 25.
