Gadar 2 joins Pathaan in the 500 Crore club at the Box Office

On day 24 of its fabulous run in theatres, Gadar 2 has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the Indian box office. The film earned Rs 7.8 crore on its fourth Sunday, taking its total earnings to Rs 501.17 crore.

Gadar 2 joins Pathaan and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) in the exclusive Rs 500 crore nett earnings club for a Hindi film. While Pathaan took 28 days to cross the Rs 500 crore mark and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion took 34 days, Gadar 2 accomplished the feat in just 24 days. It remains to be seen if Gadar 2 will cross Pathaan's Rs 524 crore record at the box office.

Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma and stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. The film was released in theatres on August 11.
