Filming of Thalaivar 170 Begins; First Look Of Rajinikanth Out

The makers of Rajinikanth's next, tentatively titled Thalaivar 170, have announced that the shooting of the film kickstarts today. The announcement was made along with the first-look poster of Rajinikanth from the film. The actor is seen sporting shades in the black-and-white poster.

The film, directed by TJ Gnanavel, best-known for directing Suriya's courtroom drama, Jai Bhim (2021), will feature a huge ensemble cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan. The film, bankrolled by Lyca Productions, will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.

The technical team of the film is yet to be announced. 

Rajinikanth will be next seen in Laal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. He is also set to collaborate with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj post-Thalaivar 170.
