Dr. Shivarajkumar Reunites With Daali Dhananjaya for 'Uttarakanda'

The makers of the crime drama Uttarakanda recently announced that Dr Shivarajkumar will join the cast to play a pivotal role. The film stars Daali Dhananjaya who reunites with director Rohit Padakki after the family drama Ratnan Prapancha (2021).

Shivanna and Dhananjaya have previously collaborated on the films Tagaru and Bhairagi where the latter played the antagonist. Tagaru was a breakthrough role for Dhananjaya. The role of Shivanna in Uttarakanda is yet to be revealed while the title teaser indicated Dhananjaya to play an antihero. 

Uttarakanda is written and directed by Rohit Padakki. The film also stars Ramya and Diganth in pivotal roles. It is produced by Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj under the KRG Studios banner. Arvind S Kashyap of Kantara (2022) and Hostel Hudugru Bekagiddare (2023) fame will handle the cinematography while Charan Raj will compose the music for the film.
