Chandramukhi 2: First Look of Raghava Lawrence's Vettaiyan Raja Out

Raghava Lawrence, who has carved a special space in Tamil cinema with his horror comedies (Kanchana film series, Shivalinga (2017)), is all set to star in Chandramukhi 2, a sequel to the famous Rajinikanth-starrer, Chandramukhi (2005). The makers have now unveiled the first look poster of Lawrence. In a royal look, Lawrence is introduced to us as King Vettaiyan. Notedly, the role was essayed by Rajinikanth in the original. The film co-stars Kangana Ranaut.

Unveiling the first look, the producers (Lyca Productions) wrote on Twitter, "Back with double the swag and attitude! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Witness Vettaiyan Raja's ๐Ÿ‘‘ intimidating presence in @offl_Lawrence's powerful first look from Chandramukhi-2 ๐Ÿ—๏ธ"

Chandramukhi was a remake of the Malayalam cult classic Manichithrathazhu. Directed by P Vasu, the sequel is slated to hit the screens on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. It will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The film has music by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani.
