Cannes 2024: Sobhita Dhulipala says, ‘I’m not in Cannes to make a statement’

Sobhita Dhulipala who was recently seen in Monkey Man alongside Dev Patel appeared at the 77th Cannes Film Festival for her brand collaboration. While talking to Film Companion’s Editor in Chief, Anupama Chopra, Dhulipala opened up about her journey in films, playing diverse characters and how she is still being recognized as the niche Indian actress despite playing distinctive roles on screen.

Talking about the idea of fashion and how she manages to stay fashionable, Dhulipala said, “I’m not in Cannes to make a statement. I’m here to eat the Creme Brule, eat the Baguette, walk around in my trousers, pajamas and have a good time and invite and feel feel good like this is beautiful.”

Apart from Dhulipala, the Cannes Film Festival 2024 will be attended by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , Kiara Advani , Jacqueline Fernandez and Aditi Rao Hydari.
