Cannes 2024: Niharika NM Announces her Tamil Debut with Atharvaa Murali

In an exclusive interview with Sneha Menon Desai at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, digital content creator Niharika NM announced her foray into acting with her Tamil debut film with Atharvaa Murali.

Giving out more details about the film and her character, Niharika shared, “It’s a Tamil film. It’s by Lyca productions. All the big Tamil films that have ever come out, it’s by them. [The film] is with Atharvaa Murali and the director is Aakash Baskaran. He is a debut director and it’s a really fun film, it’s entertaining, it has romance, comedy, friendships, heartbreaks, roadtrips, and it’s partially shot in New York. So I get to take a roadtrip to New York, because I’m playing a character that lives in New York.”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet yesterday. Apart from her, Kiara Advani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sobhita Dhulipala will make their Cannes appearance this year.
