BUMPER OPENING: Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan Records Rs. 129.6 Crores on Day 1

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has surpassed all the box office records making it the first movie to cross 100 crores on its day 1 in the history of Indian cinema. The film has registered a number of Rs. 129.6 crores worldwide on its opening day.

Jawan producers Red Chillies Entertainment shared a post on their Instagram handle, “As Jawan says, "Yeh toh bas shuruaat hai" Thank you for the Massy-ive love.”

The film is directed by Atlee Kumar and produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film boasts of an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani among others. The film released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 7.
