Bramayugam Second Look: Mammootty Unveils An Intriguing Poster

Mammootty has been on a roll with his impressive lineup of films including last year's Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakam and Kaathal: The Core. And there seems to be nothing that could stop his fine form. Celebrating the new year, Mammootty shared the second-look poster of his much-awaited mythological horror film Bramayugam. The poster featured the actor in a never-before-seen look donning a headgear frequented with artists who perform the traditional dance form of “ Theyyam”. The poster designed all in pitch monotone black has Mammootty appearing like a nonhuman entity almost by the stylings of his eyes and details of his face in the shadow.

The look has been favourably compared to an iconic frame of the actor from the film Vidheyan (1993), which featured a haunting image of a bullhorn showpiece framed to look like a horn emanating from his head.

Bramayugam is written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan of Bhootakalam (2022) fame. The project bankrolled by Y Not Studios and Night Shift Studios will also feature Amalda Riz, Siddharth Bharathan and Arjun Ashokan.
