Bambai Meri Jaan Trailer Out Now- Kay Kay Menon and Avinash Tiwary battle for Mumbai

Farhan Akhtar has shared the trailer of the upcoming web series Bambai Meri Jaan. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the tumultuous relationship between an upright policeman, Ismail Kadri (Kay Kay Menon) and his son Dara Kadri (Avinash Tiwary). While Kadri works hard to protect the city from the clutches of gangsters, Dara gets sucked into the murky world of crime. 

The show is set in Mumbai, or Bambai, in the 1960s and 70s and portrays the rise of gangs and organised crime in the city. At its heart, the show is about the conflict between a father and son who find themselves on opposite sides of the law; both by choice and by circumstances. The show also stars Kritika Kamra, Nivedita Bhattacharya and Amyra Dastur. 

Bambai Meri Jaan is created by Rensil D’Silva and Shujaat Saudagar. The series is directed by Saudagar, and produced by Akhtar, Kassim Jagmagia and Ritesh Sidhwani. The 10-part series will stream on Amazon Prime Video on September 14.
