Rakshit Shetty’s Kirik Party (2016) was a landmark film in providing a wholesome entertainer to the Kannada audience. Now, Shetty promises an equally fun comedy with the upcoming Diganth Manchale starrer Bachelor Party. The makers of the film released the official trailer of the film which is set to be released in cinemas on January 26.

The trailer of Bachelor Party begins with a setting that is familiar to the watchers of the classic Hollywood comedy The Hangover (2009). Drunk, hungover, clueless, and possibly naked, three friends played by Diganth, Yogesh, and Achyuth Kumar wake up in a hotel room in varying states of grogginess as they party in Thailand. The trailer then establishes Diganth as a husband in an unhappy marriage, and Siri Ravikumar plays his wife. He seems to have lost his fun side in fear of his wife’s disapproval. However, things go awry when they all go to Thailand and all hell breaks loose. Hints of a crime, bad decisions, and a machine-gun wedding are shown in the trailer.

Bachelor Party is written and directed by Abhijith Mahesh in his directorial debut. He acted as a writer as part of Rakshit Shetty’s ‘The Seven Odds’ for films like Kirik Party and Avane Srimannarayana (2019). The film is backed by Shetty under his Paramvah Studios banner. It stars Diganth, Yogi, Achyuth Kumar, Siri Ravikumar, Achara Kirk, Shine Shetty, Prakash Thumminadu, and Balaji Manohar. Aravind S Kashyap handles the cinematography while Arjun Ramu provides the music and background score.
