Ayushmaan Khurrana’s first look as Pooja from Dream Girl 2 is out

Ayushmaan Khrrana’s look as Pooja in Dream Girl 2 has been revealed. The movie is a spiritual sequel to Dream Girl (2019) that starred Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead roles. 

In the look reveal poster, we see both of Khurrana’s avatars in the film. In one look he is dressed like a regular guy, and in the other, he is all dolled up as ‘Pooja’, wearing a lehenga, long hair and dramatic makeup. Both versions are holding lipstick in their hand and offering expressions to match their character's situation. Khurrana shared Pooja’s first look and wrote, “Yeh toh sirf pehli jhalak hai. (This is just the first look) Objects in the mirror are more khoobsurat (prettier) than they appear! #DreamGirl2on25Aug #25AugustHogaMast #OneMonthToGo.”

While in the first film, Khurrana’s character only impersonated the voice of a woman and played female roles in locally produced plays, it looks like the makers are taking the concept of a man pretending to be a woman one notch higher with Dream Girl 2.

Dream Girl 2 is produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor releases theatrically on August 25.
